Every
Sunday night, from 12-1am, Milly mixes the best tech house, tecno and minimal
club tracks, featuring both emerging and established labels and artists. The
nationwide FM broadcast is simultaneously supported by a live-online webcast,
via M2O's site, reaching a vast international
audience.
For those who've missed MILLYBAR, the M2O
RELOADED section on the radio's website, offers the possibility to listen
to all the past shows.
Under the slogan "the pressure is on", Milly wants to put forth
the message that the music brings everything together powerfully, transcending
any social & racial barrier and the often used stigma of club music=drugs.
Malatoid, Presslab Records, Kritical Noise, Highgrade, Mobilee, Micro Fibres, Freak 'n Chic, Audiomatique, Safari Electronique, Made to Play, Future Audio, Salto, Kompakt, Poker Flat are just some of the labels that are represented each week, while artists like Marc Antona, Luca Doobie, Jeff Samuel, Tom Clark, Robert Blake, Pan pot, Alexi Delano or Tigerskin are regularly featured in her sets.
Each
week's playlist is updated on MILLYBAR's
MySpace Page, thus giving exposure to all the players who make her sets
a true radiophonic gem.
Rest assured that behind there's a constant research for new sounds, artists
and labels.
DJ millydemori has been collaborating with Radio M2O for 5 years.
In the works is now a MILLYBAR CD compilation which will hit the stores in Fall 2008.
